Shannon entered the education world in 2001 and spent 11 years as a high school English teacher when she had the epiphany that helping students finding what they WANT to read rather than MAKING them read would bring her much more job satisfaction. Now, in her tenth year as a school librarian, she has learned it is much more than just finding books, in fact, much of her job has nothing to with librarianship, but she still thinks it is the best job in the world.
