Michelle is a former classroom teacher who became a School Librarian/Media Specialist due to her love of books and technology--and the retirement of the librarian at her school. She has a Master's in Educational Technology and is developing her Librarian knowledge and skills daily. Her current passions are developing her collection into one that allows kids to see themselves while also wanting to read the books and developing skilled use of research and technology resources for personal edification and to support classroom learning. She wants her students to see her as a model, not as someone who has all the answers, but one who is always willing to learn and to do better.
