Hear how author, Jessica Kim, has been able to weave her specific experiences as a child of immigrants into a universal story that any reader can read and relate to. She will discuss why she chose to include Korean words unitalicized, how she dealt with stereotypes and accents, and how she learned to center herself in her own story.
