TASL Con 2022

Join school library activist, K.C. Boyd as she shares rich experiences working in three school districts to retain school library programs and librarians. During this presentation, she will share stories, strategies and victories in advocating for school libraries and librarians.  Newbie and veteran librarians alike will be inspired to rethink how they can work with each other more effectively, market their library program differently, advocate for themselves more at the district level.  Most importantly, attendees will see examples of how engaging parents, community and political allies in the fight to keep school libraries alive can be successful when everyone works together.
