When the library is a part of the related arts team, collaboration is a necessary tool. As the music, art and library media specialists, we decided early on to make a conscious effort to bridge the gap between our areas of expertise. We use our personal strengths to make sure that each of our rooms are an inclusive, welcoming place for all students. This presentation will focus on HOW we collaborate, examples of our past projects and WHY we work so hard to create a sense of comfort for our students.
Jessamyn Gray is currently the LMS at Poplar Grove Elementary in Franklin, TN. There she works alongside Kaylon Gilley (music) and Mallory Hamby (art).
