Participants will learn easy tweaks to add STEM to library lessons. These will be based on real life examples from the Green Magnet Academy library (where they were just awarded our state STEM designation.) Some examples include: using the engineering design process, five minute STEM ideas, and STEM lessons that can take place in 45 minutes.

Mrs. Kelly has been a school librarian for 20 years and a TASL member just as long. She has served as a TASL Representative, Vendor Chair, presenter, and current Chair of the VSBA Intermediate Committee. She has been at a STEAM magnet school in Knoxville for five years.
